Dynamo for Ethernet Managed switch

We are having a requirement project to show a dynamo for Ethernet Managed switch.

We need to display animations for Hardware network switch fault and the individual port failure dynamically on the system architecture graphics Page.

 

Ethernet Switch model number:  Allied Telesyn AT-FS709FC

 If anyone has worked on this before, please let me know the details.

  Looking at the datasheet for the product (http://www.alliedtelesis.com/p-2109.html), this is an unmanaged switch. Even with a conventional managed switch, you would need a device that can be polled by an external client and somehow brought into DeltaV. It is possible to get some of these data using DeltaV Smart Switches.
  
  If your requirement can be changed to monitor the individual ports on your workstation and controller nodes via DeltaV Diagnostic parameters, this may be a path forward for you.
