Basic AMS (DeltaV Explorer HART Interface) possible on Operator Station?

I am trying to access the basic "free" AMS functionality via DeltaV Explorer (HART instrument interface) on an Operator Station. Workstation has full span of control, and system is 14.3, with AMS installed.

I am able to access DeltaV Explorer and Control Studio at the Operator Station using a floating Engineering Seat. The error on attempting to connect the Operator Station AMS to ProPlus (AMS Server Manager) gives "you are not licensed for this feature in AMS Device Manager"

I have this exact configuration/functionality working on the  ProPlus and Pro Station, what am I missing?

  Could you clarify what you mean by "fee" AMS functionality?
  As you pointed out, you have AMS (Server) installed on the ProPlus, and I would assume you have an AMS Client installed on the Pro Station, the error you're getting is most likely due to a lack of Client license on the Oper station.

  going along the line of Tadeu: if you have the client license, have you configure the client on the AMS ServerPlus? You can also check your AMS ServerPlus license for Client as well when you configure the client station. It will indicate how many client station license you have.

  "free" => the basic/base AMS functionality included with DeltaV software, the AMS function that is available without installing the software suite/license. We have no client license, this is not full function AMS. Base AMS (HART interface to single instrument) works on Pro and ProPlus without client license.

  @ Tadeu I believe what you said is right, but that is indeed my question:   AMS Client works on the Pro, why can it not work on the Operator station using the floating engineering seat?

  @simHogan : As my understanding you have the AMS Device Manager installed on the Proplus as serverPLus and on the Pro as client. Did you check how many clients license you have : About AMS DEVICE MANAGER: in order to check all the details related to the AMS Licence you have.
  
  As Tinh Phan said on the station configuration it Will indicate how many client station you have.

  Ahhh, you want to use AMS DM as AMS Device Configurator without a license. It’s only work on the DeltaV ProPlus and I do t believe it comes with a Client station license. It was meant to allow users to commission Fieldbus and Hart devices one by one.

  You are exactly correct. I have this function on both Pro and ProPlus (allows individual Device Configuration).
  I am trying to determine how to get this same individual device interface functionality on an Operator Workstation, I have a floating engineering seat, and can access DeltaV Explorer.

  What is is the minimum solution to allow this simple/single functionality from the Operator Station?
