Congratulations to Tim Olsen for achieving an AFPM Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2023 AFPM Summit meeting in Dallas, Texas. The American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM):
…is the leading trade association representing makers of the fuels that keep us moving, the petrochemicals that are the essential building blocks for modern life and the midstream companies that get our feedstocks and products where they need to go.
Tim has 33 years of experience in the refining industry and has been an integral part of the AFPM organization for more than 20+ years. He has been participating in many the Reliability and Maintenance conferences as well as the planning for Operational Planning, Controls & Automation Technology Committee, Summit Steering Committee, and the Technical Committee on Leadership.
He also leads the development of important safety documents on abnormal situation management and continues to encourage active exchange of knowledge across the refining and petrochemical industries. Tim also willingly shares his knowledge and experience as a mentor to many in the industry.
