If you follow the upstream oil & gas industry, you’ll frequently see headlines like this Forbes article, The Permian Basin Continues To Drive Record U.S. Energy Growth.
I mention this because I’ll be heading out to Odessa in West Texas for the grand opening of Emerson’s Permian Basin Service Center. The center is staffed with Emerson and Emerson Impact Partner experts to facilitate collaboration with oil & gas producers and help them advance their digitalization efforts.
In addition to experts in process measurements, custody transfer, analytical devices, valves, and control & SCADA systems, the Permian Basin Service Center will have an extensive stock of local inventory, a full-service walk-up counter and qualified Emerson customer service personnel to help select the right solution for your application.
For upskilling the digital workforce to run production operations more efficiently and sustainably, education and training with certified coursework is available for safe and proper use of automation & reliability-related technologies. Here’s a listing of some of the upcoming training offered.
If you find yourself in the Midland/Odessa area of West Texas this Friday, March 1, come by our Permian Basin Service Center and enjoy some BBQ, music and a chance to connect with some of our experts. Find out more grand opening details here and register here to join us at the BBQ.
There’s nothing like good Texas BBQ on a Friday afternoon to get your weekend off to a great start and celebrate all the great people behind the record-setting growth in Permian Basin energy production.
