I am installing new weighing cells in my production site, those cells have embedded software that controls & check the weighing but also if the material is the correct one. Datas are then stored in a SQL server created by the supplier.
I would like to know how to read this data in the database (SQL) with DeltaV to pursue the sequence in our DCS once the weighing has been checked and confirmed. Those cells have not been installed yet, I just want informations on this type of communication (OPC UA ? TCP IP ?). Currently we have DeltaV V13, and will be upgraded to V15 this summer.
