What are benefits of using Steam Trap Monitoring?

This is a common question we hear from customers. Briefly, it reduces steam consumption which improves efficiency and reduces your fuel bill. Additionally, steam trap monitoring helps reduce the incidence of water hammering.

  • Steam trap monitoring is an Enabler... It Enables you to reduce steam consumption and reduce incidence of water hammer by providing actionable information. That is, if the steam trap blows steam, the monitoring software will tell you so you can take action having the trap replaced. Or if the steam trap is instead trapping condensate, it tells you so you can take action having the trap replaced. We can even provide this function as a remote monitoring service; a new business model enabled by the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) where we generate a report telling you which traps you have to replace:
