  • The best way to receive answers to these type of questions is to contact Rosemount Technical Support or your Rosemount Contact. The technical support number and email is in the Quick Start Guide and User Manual.

For this particular issue, check the following:

    1. Validate basic connectivity to the gateway interface by accessing the webpage. If unable to connect, then there is a basic connection problem.

    2. If able to connect tot he gateway page, verify the OPC Secure option is enabled by navigating to Setup>Security>Protocols. You have security set to on in the Secure Setup Utility so OPC secure must be enabled on the gateway.

    3. If #2 is good be sure to select File>Save on the Secure Setup Utility. If this is not completed and the gateway username and password entered to complete the configuration, then the status will continue to show bad.

    4. If #1-3 does not resolve the problem, then restart the PC. Some older PC require a restart. If this does not work, then verify there are no firewalls blocking the OPC Secure Port 1200.
