Installing a WirelessHART Device Remote Antenna

Let’s end the week with another great “how to” style video, How to Install a WirelessHART Remote Antenna. Remote antennas can be used with wireless devices and gateways to get out of the way of obstructions which may block the wireless signal from forming a mesh network with other devices in the area.

Ideally, these high-gain remote antennas will be 4.6-7.6m (15-25 ft) above the ground or 2m (6 ft) above obstructions or major infrastructure.

This short, 2-minute video shows the installation process including the brackets, electrical connections and sealing process for the antenna.
