Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has experience in programming DeltaV to communicate with Schneider Tesys Islands via Profibus. So far I have:

• Configured the island in SoMove, set its Profibus address and put it into operational mode
• Added the GSD to DeltaV, added the device to the Profibus Card
• Added the devices/modules as slots in the order/configuration I believe they need to be added
• Downloaded the setup to the card

Unfortunately this keeps resulting in comms errors. It seems as though the Tesys Island is not accepting the parameterisation and thus rejecting the DeltaV card as the master device. I'm getting:

• Station not ready
• Configuration Fault
• Parameterization required
• Static Diagnostics

I suspect it is something to do with the module order and resulting signal size, as the other devices on the network are functioning fine. Does anyone have experience with Schneider Tesys island configurations in DeltaV?
