OPC Write Journal event disable registry key?

I can’t seem to find where this is mentioned in Books Online. I’ve made bulk changes before by exporting my online changes to a spreadsheet and setting Journal Disable = FALSE, which forces all changes to be flagged for upload.

Does anyone know the exact registry path for this key? I know it’s configured per workstation, but I haven’t been able to find the direct path documented anywhere.

  • This is a setting in the registry. Your best bet is to use the Find function ans search for « Journal disable ». It will be found in the FRSI/deltav/currentversion.

This is used to treat OPC WRITES as Operator writes and capturing them for upload. This should not be set if the OPC writes automated data transfers. Doing so would cause the upload data storage to consume disk space and creat abnormally huge upload files with unexpected results.
