  • I haven't seen this personally but it looks to be related to User Account Control being enabled. There are two places where it can possibly be enabled. One is in Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Double Click on User Accounts -> Turn User Account On or Off and then uncheck "User User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" followed by a reboot. UAC may also be enabled by Local Security Policy: Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Options | User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode set to Disabled followed by a reboot.

If the computer is in a domain you may have to modify the DeltaV Workstation Policy (or add a new policy that gets applied) from the ProPlus. Group Policy Management Editor: DeltaV Workstation Policy | Computer Configuration | Policies | Windows Settings | Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Options | User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode set to Disabled. From a command prompt execute the command gpupdate /force to push the change to the workstations. The workstation may need to be rebooted to load the change.
