Phantom Phase Alias

I'm struggling to locate an alias that is apparently associated with a specific phase class.  When I add the phase class to the unit class I get an alias created that DeltaV Explorer indicates is referenced in the phase.  When I export the phase class FHX and search for the alias string I am unable to locate the referenced alias.  What am I missing here?  The phase I'm working on is a copy of an existing phase class.  In the existing phase class this alias exists, however in the copy I removed this alias as it is no longer needed.  I am certain I located all lines of code referencing the alias in the copy given that the FHX export no longer contains the alias based on a string search.

  • Ok I figured out how to get rid of the phantom alias, but I can't explain why it existed. I exported the FHX, deleted the phase class from explorer and then imported the FHX back in to the system. After doing this I am no longer getting the phantom alias created in the unit class. Doesn't instill a lot of confidence in the database... what other artifacts are left behind when copying from an exist class to start a new class?
