In a Cybersecurity project one of the options that we want for hardening is the implementation of a Two factor authentication using smart cards, but we have some questions to be solve prior to the implementation and are:

1. They have some operation stations that are operate for one operator at the same time, due the idea is that the card must be inplace meanwhile the operator is working, if he needs to move to the other station he needs to unplug this card and plug in that station, the solution is have two cards, but we feel that less the security, do you have another ideas.

2. They have RFID Cards, we think that it would be better to use than the smart Cards but, due this cards don't need to be in contact all the time how can we handle the login and logout

3. The HSE people ask us how will the system handle an emergency if the operator is out of his seat and has to access to the HMI and has to login an put the card, it may will take some time and acord to them increase the probability to don't give a timely response.
