seting futrnic

I bought a new  actuator, when I will calibrate I did not find the calibration mode on the ANALOG SET UP menu. menu display only until writing STAY PUT ON LOST SIGNAL then back to menu ANALOG SET UP. How do I find CALIBRATE AIN and AO menus?

  • I believe the actuator must be configured to have the FUTRONIC ACM at the factory setup. Hence within the setup menu, you have to proceed to CHANGE SETTINGS? and at the prompt will ask for (2) passcodes. Enter FAC and MIE in this order to get into the factory setup where you can scroll NEXT until you see the prompt ACM INSTALLED (should have FUTRONIC selected). Then exit out at the factory setup by either going back/forward.

After confirming the configuration in the factory setup, then proceed to CHANGE SETTINGS? and just enter 000 (user passcode). At this setup you should see the following prompts by scrolling NEXT: control mode, set travel limits?, discrete in/outputs...then once you reach to the ANALOG SETUP, you will move the selector knob to STOP. Then follow the prompted instructions on the display.

I believe you're dealing with TEC2 which the actuator setup does not distinguish between Futronic or Controlinc. Once the ACM is ENABLED at the setup, you will able to go directly to the analog calibration menu. Currently the TEC2 has only one wiring configuration for two analog inputs and two analog feedback / outputs regardless of Futronic or Controlinc: AIN1 on terminals 25+ 26-, AIN2 on 27+ 28-, shield on 29 & 30, AO1 31+ 32-, AO2 33+ 34- (both AO circuits require loop powered either internal or external 24VDC). This information can be found on the TEC2 INSTALLATION / OPERATION MANUAL p. 17 section 3.6 Auxiliary Control Module - Optional. If you have DCMLINK, click on the HELP tab, then select DOCUMENTS. On the next drop down menu, select Actuators and next select TEC2/model500 IOM.
