Hi,
I have this query from a concerned client and I am at a loss as to how to answer this with respect to the Gas Flow table 6
My question refers to the Capacity Information in Bulletin 74.3:ACE97 Pad-DepadValve - specifically the Outbreathing Air Flow Rate values in Table 6 on Pg 6.In Table 6 the required outbreathing flowrates listed in the flash point<100F column are smaller than the those listed in the flash point >100Fcolumn. This is different to the tables in API 2000 5th ed. and thedocumentation for your other vapour recovery valves. My understanding is that more volatile/low flash point liquids would require ahigher out-breathing rate due to thermal effects than less volatile liquidswith a higher flash point. It's entirely possible that I've missed somethingobvious but could there be an error in that the > and < are the wrong wayaround in the table?Thought I should ask the question to you all for my own education also !Jule Ustianowski
