Answer: Using a single transmitter to measure both differential pressure and inline pressure in the same device can help eliminate piping connections, save you time during installation and reduce a significant number of leak points. The Fourth edition of API Standard 682 deals with primary measurements, but doesn’t specify configurations of the transmitters.
