Can a single transmitter that measures both differential pressure (DP) and pressure help me meet the new API Standard 682?

Answer:  Using a single transmitter to measure both differential pressure and inline pressure in the same device can help eliminate piping connections, save you time during installation and reduce a significant number of leak points. The Fourth edition of API Standard 682 deals with primary measurements, but doesn’t specify configurations of the transmitters. Using a multi-variable transmitter could bring additional benefits as part of an overall pump health monitoring solution. For more information on multi-variable pressure transmitters, click here.
