Impulse tubing installation up or down

Hello

Is it possible, under any circumstance,  to have the DP orifice  impulse tubing  installed above the  pipe for liquid applications?  This is to avoid tubing blockage from some dirt in the liquid.

  DP impulse tubing can be adjusted for different applications and issues. In liquid applications we do not recommend pressure ports on top of the pipe to avoid air/gasses being trapped in the impulse lines. Air is easily introduced during start up and other process interruptions. While it is possible to bleed the air to avoid measurement errors, placing the impulse tubes on the side of the pipe is a better solution. This would help prevent both air and dirt from entering the impulse lines.
