Hi

Could anybody point me to where to download DeltaV version 14?

  Software media can be downloaded via the Guardian Website. You need an active Guardian Account for your system and it should be registered. Contact your local Emerson service provider to help you gain access to the site. Guardian Services also give you access to Knowledge Base articles, Hotfixes, 24/7 Technical support, as well as tools to manage your DeltaV system.

  Martin, I suggest you work with your local Emerson Impact Partner/sales office to see if they can help you manage your system software versions. They can review your situation and recommend the best solution. Guardian is designed to support production facilities 24/7 with a host of services that you don't need.

  Are you using DeltaV Simulate Standalone or another version (pro or multi-node)? If using simulate, it may be as easy to just repurchase compared to purchasing Guardian Support.
  
  We have a number of sites with a Simulate license, but all are used along with a full DeltaV system, so the sites are purchasing Guardian anyway. It does get confusing to our users since the system IDs for the simulate systems do not show up in the Guardian portal. Since I organize the Guardian Support renewal for our US based sites, I get a number of calls from our site users on this topic each year.
  
  Andre's recommendation to get with your local sales may help. With Guardian being required for major version upgrades, but not available for Simulate Standalone, will be interesting to hear what they recommend.

  Hi Martin, we appreciate your feedback. In fact, we are planning to open software downloads to all users in the next few months. Guardian Connect is our free, entry-level access for the Guardian website. It will soon be expanded to include digital download of your DeltaV media.
  
  Separately, I would encourage you to raise the pricing concern with your local Emerson contact. I would be happy to get engaged in a webex on this topic to learn more and help explore the options we have.

  Hi Michael, if you are not seeing the Simulate SIDs on your Guardian dashboard, then please let me know. These should be there - just checked with my demo account.
  
  Also, Guardian is available for Simulate Standalone and Simulate Multi-Node. In some cases, it can be covered by the production system at a site, but if it is not at a production site, we also have a Guardian Support option for you.

  Ben, we have a couple out of all of our NA sites that show in the list. For the most part, they do not . One site in particular has 2 DeltaV Simulate Standalone IDs and one Multi-node. None of the 3 show in the list in our Guardian portal. This is a question that is asked most every year.
  
  We do have access to downloads that comes with the other systems.

  on a related topic, i cannot even get a quote for DeltaV Simulate here in Dublin, Ireland. Will you sell it to freelance contractors? (ie not Pharma Mega Corps but nevertheless someone that architects/advises solutions for same) . Contractors like to upskill to latest version and companies are proving less and less willing to pay for this training, and instead want the contractor to magically hit the ground running on latest version. Ive worked with DeltaV in Biopharma / Pharma since V6 and trying to get DeltaV Simulate up and running for mockups / prototypes / API integration etc is always a disaster.
