EIOC Device Comm Failure

When there is a communication failure while a EthernetIP controlled motor is running the start Out_d Paramter in the EIOC keeps the last state of 1 or running. Is there a way to make the EIOC paramter default to 0 so when the Communication comes back online the Motor will not try to start. I am using the EIOC to communicate to Rockwell E300 Overload Relay.
