Deltav configuration for Windows 10

Does anyone have a document of DeltaV configuration for windows 10? or windows 10 installation manual for deltav?

  My understanding is that the manual is not nedded anymore as the DeltaV installation will do it for you for Windows 10 and Windows 2016.

  The only workstation allowed and supported for DeltaV station are the dell station sold by Emerson. Each of these station is delivered with a « recovery DVD » which has to be use to install OS with DeltaV pre-requisite.

  You are right, But there is a problem due to data transfer between workstations, and i want to review windows configuration for deltav, exactly network configuration. I will be grateful for your help.

  In later versions of DeltaV, Windows settings/changes are automated as part of the installation. What version of DeltaV are you using?

  I found the old XPHelp.chm very helpful to make sure everything was configured correctly in Windows. I haven't looked for what is available on v14 yet.
  
  Having a guide (at least what are absolutely required settings) could be helpful. This is especially for DeltaV Simulate Standalone which is often installed on a non Emerson supplied workstation.

  I am not aware of any documentation that might help you here. The XPHelp.chm might be a good start but it pales to all the settings that DeltaV applies to workstations:
  - Disable UAC
  - Recommended Windows Firewall configuration (if you are using it)
  - Application of local or domain security policies
  - Hardening of OS/SQL Server/IIS
  - - CIS Benchmarks
  -- IEC 62443* standards
  
  Your best bet is to contact GSC.
