Emerson Exchange 2019 DeltaV Controller and I/O Hardware - Product Update sessions

Hi everyone!

Emerson Exchange at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, TN is coming up next week and I will be giving two product update presentations on DeltaV Controller and I/O Hardware.

I will cover all the new hardware released in the last years and in DeltaV v14. I will also mention a few new hardware products releasing the next year.

The first session is Tuesday, September 24 at 11AM, and the second one on Wednesday, September 25 at 2:30PM, both in Level 2 - Presidential Ballroom A. Please check the mobile app for any last-minute changes.

Session 4-1273 DeltaV Product Update - Controller and I/O Hardware in DeltaV.

Come learn about Distributed CHARMs and PK controller in DeltaV v14. Distributed CHARMs provides a new way to terminate I/O closer to field devices, which increases flexibility, simplifies installation, and reduces wiring, cable tray and labor cost. The PK controller is targeted for skids and standalone applications with 100 to 1500 I/O, but can also be used in DeltaV for traditional process applications. The PK Controller offers native controller connectivity to Ethernet I/O networks and removes latency. We will also cover new functionality such as M-series controllers communicating with CIOCs and WIOCs to improve flexibility and ease of I/O expansions and the new refreshed M-series hardware with High Density I/O cards with a full range of both screw and mass terminal blocks.

You can also find me in booth #800 in the exhibit hall in the DeltaV Controller and I/O Hardware booth.

Hope to see many of you next week!

Best regards,
Rune
