DeltaV Upgrade from 11.3.1 to 13.3.1 with Foundation Fieldbus Devices

Are there any specific gotchas or concerns when upgrading a DeltaV system that has Foundation Fieldbus devices? I don't have much FF experience but it doesn't seem like there's anything different from upgrading a DeltaV system with just traditional I/O.

We've upgraded fairly routinely since starting up on v4 20 years ago. We have a number (100's) of FF devices that are of the same vintage and have seen a few anomalies. When we upgraded from 11.3.1 to 13.3, something was amiss with the oldest (original) 8800 vortex shedding flow transmitters, as the blue triangle would never clear. The devices functioned fine but the blue triangles were annoying. The only way to clear them was to delete the device entirely, create a new placeholder, and recommission. So something curious happened to placeholders or DD's or something in the migration. If you're up to it (maybe you do this anyhow) I would comb through the migrated fhx and see if anything looks questionable.
I would venture a guess, that if most devices are of relatively recent vintage, and you haven't experimented with any beta-class devices for special applications, it should go smoothly.
If you are using series 2 (M-series) H1 cards, there is a flash - might even be in 11.3.1 (4.90 to 4.91). Not sure what this gets you but a download of all segments was not required. We flashed spare cards in empty slots and swapped them out - much cleaner if you don't have redundant H1 cards.
