Does anyone installed a M series serial interface series 2 card model VE4006P2 to talk to Honeywell Slate PLC through Modbus RTU in RS-485 ?. I did this connection with the folowwing setup .
Delta-V side : Master, Modbus address = 6, baud raute = 9600, parity none, stop bits = 1 , data bits = 8, half duplex.
Data set properties for PLC :
Slate register 42565
Honeywell Slate PLC side : Slave, Modbus address = 6, baud rate = 9600, parity none, stop bits = 1, data bits = 8, half duplex.
Format of the register 42565 in the Slate PLC:
Trying to read the register 42565 in the Slate PLC and Delta-V diagnostics return the error message "Illegal data address"
Seems like both are connected , but Delta-V is not being succesfull to read the address 42565
Does someone know what to do in this case ?.
