DVD RW drive access denied

Hi all,

I can't access my pro-plus, application and operator stations DVD drives. I am getting access is denied message. The drives were working fine. suddenly I am getting this message. I did not install any software. I ran a scan for a virus. dint find anything. can anyone help me to fix this issue? Thanks in advance.

  In Windows Desktop, go to Run command and type gpedit.msc and Enter. Under User Configuration Expand "Administrative Templates" and in that expand "System"and check in Removable Storage Access if CD and DVD read / write or Removable disk enabled. If enabled make it Disable and exit. After that in run command type gpupdate /force and enter. A command prompt appears stating policy update completed.
