DeltaV Domain Users

Hello guys,

   We had a planned shutdown (everything was down, including all workstations) to test the behaviour of the system during the restart. The problem is that all users were lost in some workstations and we can just login as Administrator. For the RAS workstations everything is OK.

   Test details (this is a domain setup):

1- Lost power (red shutdown)

2- Restart the system

3- Logged in using Operator User (Windows login)

4- No user but Administrator in DeltaV Login.

   Did you have similar experience before?

  Were the domain controller(s) (ProPlus + Second DC) up when you tried to login to the operator station? Is this Server 2008 or 2003?

  It can happen that FlexLock shows only a very limited number of users instead of the full list. We never investigated in detail, rebooting the workstation always solved the problem.
