Reposting a SIS Licensing Question from DeltaV Group

From Community Member PILS. Need to know whether to consider DO DST license or AO DST license when we use DVC valves with partial stroke function? Tadeu Batista can you offer insight here? Thanks!

  While configuring a DeltaV SIS System, if you use a LSDVC block, which enables the HART feature of the DVC, it counts AO license, but if you consider a LSDO block, than it's going to count the DO license.

  As far as I know, the DVC6000S has both options, since other Logic Solvers may not have the Analog Output for Safety, so with DeltaV SIS and the DVC6000S, you may choose the LSDVC Block, with embbeded functionality for PST.
