I need some clarifications about database name.
DeltaV Upgrade wizard is not used and DeltaV upgrade to v12.3.1 is to be done manually offline.
I read notes on the subject in DeltaV Upgrade and migration guide. The note mentions about attaching VCAT database to DeltaV database of the same name using VcatUtil. Does this mean that we have to keep the same name of the DeltaV database from previous version to the new version when the database is migrated and imported into new PRoPLUS? Is it advisable to change the database name that is neutral not having any version suffix prior to upgrade? what is a good practice?
