Functionality of PID block for Process Type Changes

 

Hi All, 

Eager to know that If we change the Process type of PID block (Self regulating to Integrating / Integrating to Self regulating) , What are the internal parameter changes happening in PID Block? 

Please share if you any document regarding this.

  I do not believe this parameter changes the Pid algorithm at all. It is an indicator used by the tuning program (maybe others) to make judgments about how to tune and whether the loop is performing as intended.
