Can i simulate charms with mimic? I'm developing some projects that require charms and i dont have the hardware. If posible what are the requirements to make it work, regarding to licenses, software versions, etc.

If you don't have the CHARM hardware, you'll probably need Virtual CHARMS I/O: www2.emersonprocess.com/.../PDS_DeltaV_Virtual_CHARMS_IO.pdf
Most of the information you need should be in that product data sheet.
If you need to do a process simulation or tie-back of I/O in addition to the hardware/channel simulation, you could use MiMiC, but MiMiC is not required for Virtual CHARMs.
The simulation interface for CHARM IO is very nice. You will need either the CIOC hardware or the emulated Virtual CIOC. You could manually change values in the Virtual CIOC without a dynamic simulator. However, if you really want to test your control system configuration, I recommend using MiMiC with the CIOC/VCIOC SIO Driver. Details are posted at www.mynah.com/.../mimic-deltav-ciocvcioc-sio-driver. This is a very easy solution to set up and use.
