Convert Custom Faceplates from Operate to LIve

Hi everyone!

Has anyone had any success converting custom faceplates from Operate to Live?

We have tried the DeltaV Live Display Exporter (ver 2.0) in Operate and it converts the very basic stuff but doesn't work on more complex items.

We're curious if anyone has any experience or advice with this to share... Thanks in advance!

  We have chosen not to migrate Operate faceplates. All the scripting would need to be recreated as the migration tool only replaces Dynamos. Not worth the effort to make that tool work. We adopted the new look and feel as well.
  
  Once you recreate as GEMs what you want to keep from Operate, it should not be too much effort to build your Faceplates. Since all the modules have a FP name, you would want to match the Live contextual display names to their Operate counterpart. If you change the names, you have to update your module properties. Having the same names allows both Operate and Live to work in parallel.
