When reviewing accounts in User Manager utility, we are having worrisome issues, like updates taking 3-5 minutes, presumably to store the update since VCAT is in effect. Often, but not aways, an unprovoked checkout and check in follows a view only look at the 'show history'. The message is below:
The difference is shown below - it incorrectly claims the "password must change next login" was true and it overwrites it to false. HOWEVER, it was already false when I viewed it (not changed, I cancelled out of the view). Something inside the logic forces that bit true, then contradicts it back to false, all without my permission. Here's the issue, we are in a GMP environment, so system changes must be logged and explained etc. via a change control number in the VCAT popup comments entry. HOWEVER, when DV does this checkout and check in (without my permission) it shows my username as the person checking out/in, yet there is no access to the VCAT entry to explain this was unintended. It appears like I forgot to insert proper documentation. Not easy to explain in a subsequent examination. Yet this is not occurring 100%, perhaps half the time.
