We have a plant that is part continuous operation and part batch. We do not have a Batch Executive or batch historian. Does anyone have any experience or have any recommendations on how to view historical batch data like you would see in a batch historian?
Only way I could think of doing it is using excel add in for Deltav and referencing the batch info (cycle times, dosing weights, etc.). Excel would have to have some custom programming to store each batch. Or i could have a DeltaV Operate Schedule execute each time a batch is complete and copy the batch metrics into a CSV File that could be viewed displayed in excel.
Does anyone have any other recommendations, third party products...etc?
