Shell - Emerson “Partnering for Success”
Emerson Process Management Asia Pacific held the Shell-Emerson Exchange at Miri Resort & Spa in Sarawak, Malaysia from 16 to 17 April 2013.
This two-day event was attended by around 80 participants from Shell Brunei, Shell Sarawak, Shell Sabah and Brunei LNG. The total attendance of around 130 participants included staff from Emerson as well as Emerson’s Reps in Malaysia.
Remote Automation Solutions along with our Malaysian Rep – Transwater API Sdn Bhd participated in this two-day event.
Emerson Process Management has always worked in close collaboration with Shell. This biennial event provided a platform for both companies to exchange technology updates, discuss challenges and solutions and share success stories.
Remote Automation Solutions showcased our Flow Computers like the S600+ and FloBoss107 at this event. We also exhibited the ControlWave & ROC RTUs with Wireless Hart capability which generated a lot of interests. Other than being a wireless gateway, it also displayed the following capabilities:
Our Wellhead Demo demonstrated Emerson’s total capabilities at both Oil and Gas Wellhead. Our RTU and OpenEnterprise SCADA seamlessly integrated to the DeltaV DCS system; showcasing Emerson’s total solution in Oil & Gas Production.
The event concluded with teambuilding activities that garnered lots of participation, teamwork and fun!
