  • If I recall correctly, the newer DVC's, including the DVC6200, do not use the NVM that becomes "worn out" by excessive writes.

  • Please sure your DVC6200 has the latest firmware installed, 7 and above and these excessive NVM writes should be relieved. If you power cycle the device locally and they return after ensuring the latest firmware it could truly be a PWB failure but is rare. I hope this helps.

    Hi John,
The new DVC6200 still have Critical NVM Failure alert. So I didn't catch you mentioned not use the NVM. I try to look for a tool to track host(such AMS) write NVM.
    Could you help on?Thanks

    Hi Richard,

I have encountered several cases that tha valve uncontrolled move so that disturberted customer process. I want to track whether host constantly writes DVCs NVM. Do you know if Emerson PSS or Fisher has such tools?

    Thanks
