Find out the Best Reliability Program at the Emerson Exchange Conference

One of the things we highlighted in the lead up to last year’s Emerson Exchange conference in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, was the Reliability Program of the Year. The program spotlights process manufacturers and producers’ effective reliability programs. Emerson Process Management and the University of Tennessee Reliability & Maintainability Center will recognize leaders who best demonstrated effective use of reliability-based technologies.

Reliability-Program-of-YearThis recognition program will take place again at next week’s Emerson Exchange Conference in Orlando. In the Emerson Exchange Personal Scheduler Application, the sessions are described:

TF-2595 – Reliability Programs – Technologies that Work

Each customer will present their Company’s Reliability Program to demonstrate their effective use of reliability based technologies, effective work processes, return on investment, integrated maintenance best practices, and leadership in implementing a “best in class” Reliability program. The customer presentations will be the culmination of competing in an extension reliability program competition against their peers and having successfully been selected to present their best in class programs during these technology forums. A winner will be announced and recognized by Emerson at the conclusion of the Technology Forum.

The four customer finalists that are competing for the 2014 Reliability Program of the Year are:

  • Celanese — Narrows, VA Plant
  • Consolidated Edison — 59th St. New York, NY Plant
  • LyondellBassell — Channelview, TX Plant
  • Praxair — The Woodlands, TX Plant

Two sessions will be held, each one featuring two of the finalists:

  • Session 1: Tuesday, October 7th, 1:00 pm–2:30 pm
  • Session 2: Wednesday, October 8th, 1:15 pm–2:45 pm

The sessions will be hosted by Dr. Klaus Blache – Director, Reliability and Maintenance Center, University of Tennessee, and Emerson’s Todd Schools – Reliability Solutions Manager, Chris Armitage – Global Reliability Key Account Manager, and Augie DiGiovanni – VP, Reliability Key Accounts.

Good luck to each of the finalists! We hope to see you at the program in Orlando and we hope you enter your reliability program into the 2015 competition. You can also connect and interact with other reliability professionals in the Reliability & Maintenance track of the Emerson Exchange 365 community.
