Is there a specific level of vapor that the Coriolis meters can handle?

During the “Improving measurement and control in blending operations webinar last week, an interesting question was posed after Julie Valentine discussed increased tolerance in Coriolis meters.

One attendee asked, “Is there a specific level of vapor that the meters can handle?” According to Julie, “The specific level of vapor entrainment that begins to cause measurement problems really depends on the properties of the process fluid being measured, such as viscosity, but… we can safely say that with almost any fluid, we can measure up to 5 percent of entrained gas in the fluid, and sometimes much more.”

There was a lot of great information shared during this presentation.
