Switch

Good Day!! I will connect my gateway to a switch router. My question is what cable connection i will use? Straight cable or cross cable. thank you.

  Hi Zar,

  It will be depending on your switch router hardware, most switch router nowadays will support autocrossing function that will allow you to use any type of cable (Straight/Cross) to connect to gateway.

  Zar, if the auto crossing is not available cross cable should be used.
