152 Use of CSI XP32 For Troubleshooting and Analysis of Vibrations in Statoil’s TurboMachinery

Session Abstract

Statoil is operating more than thirty oil and gas platforms in the North Sea comprising gas turbines, compressors, and many smaller air compressors, fans and pumps. These machines require careful monitoring to detect equipment deteriorations thus minimising the potential for lost production. Technologies including portable analysers are being used to troubleshoot and assess the root cause of problems. Some of the results will be shared that have solved
previous problems.
