Session Abstract
In this presentation, we will discuss how old mechanical tank gauging systems can be efficiently upgraded to more accurate and maintenance-free olutions based on radar technology. To demonstrate a cost efficient upgrade, Seychelles Petroleum Co. will show in detail how they replaced their old servo-based system with the latest WirelessHART technology. This has provided a future proofed system that has reduced the risk of overfilling and requires less maintenance. Seychelles Petroleum Co. will also show how they are currently upgrading their LPG-tanks.
