Todd,

We appreciate your efforts to drive Emerson Exchange participation within your Business Unit. Currently we have 43 total abstracts submitted for the Emerson Exchange Anaheim conference and at this time last year we had 30 abstracts, which is a 43% increase over last year. With this rate, we are expecting another record number of abstract submissions.

The Presentations Committee will begin reviewing the abstracts after Call for Presentations closes on March 19. Regrettably, we are not able to release information on the submitted abstracts since this is proprietary information and the Board of Directors strives to protect the privacy of authors whose abstracts may not be accepted. A list of approved abstracts will be posted to the Emerson Exchange website (www.EmersonExchange.org) in late April, after all abstracts have been reviewed. In the meantime, I encourage you to work internally with your Business Unit to determine who has submitted an abstract. Let us know if you have additional questions about the abstract process.

Jim,

I am referring to Anahiem. I am tracking those abstracts submitted and/or accepted to date on behalf of our Business Unit. It may be too early since the Marchq9th deadline is still 3 weeks away. Our BU has a goal of 16 submissions with an expected acceptence rate of 50 percent. Just trying to keep a running tally against our goal so I can keep driving particpation.

Todd, Just to clarify... Are you referring to the event in Dusseldorf, Germany this May or Anaheim, California this fall?
