Since the DVC6200 positioners already support HART communication, you can potentially retrieve valve position feedback, diagnostics, travel, alerts, and other status information digitally without adding 92 dedicated analog input channels. This would significantly reduce I/O requirements while also providing much richer information than a simple 4–20 mA feedback signal. _______________________ Alexandra from RDC Control

Blog Post: Sizing a Control Valve for Liquid Flow: A Step-by-Step Walkthrough

An undersized valve cannot pass the required flow, and the correct selection depends on more than the published flow coefficient. Now in DeltaV control studio shows that AO module out and BKCAL_OUT were in red with cross mark. It stopped to response DCS input. DVC6200 could be open in AMS and ValveLink Snap on. We found there is no any alert and is in "In Service" mode. In DeltaV diagnostic, OInteg is BAD, Status is “Configuration Scale Does Not Match Device”. We checked input range at device is 0%-100% which is same as AO module setting. After change mode from In service to out of service and back to in service, this issue is resolved. What is the reason and what should I do to prevent this happen again.
