Emerson introduces remote fuel consumption and bunkering monitoring system

Hi Flow Community!
 
An up and coming market for Emerson has been within the Marine industry. Flow measurement needs have been prevalent in chemical, oil & gas and the food and beverage industries (among others) for quite some time. But with the high price of fuel, fuel monitoring has become a serious concern for ship owners.
 
Here is a link to a recent press release which details the story of Ascenz Pte Ltd and the relationship it has built with Emerson using Micro Motion Coriolis flowmeters to accurately capture data for fuel consumption and bunkering.
