Setting up 8732E magmeter transmitter

Why it is not possible to configure the number of decimal places for a 8732E magmeter transmitter and how is automatically chosen this number (what is the algorithm)?

  • The 8732E uses a non-configurable algorithm based on flow units, line size, and current value to automatically determine the significant digits to display. The algorithm also takes into consideration the available amount of digits on the display and the accuracy of the magmeter for the given configuration when considering the amount of significant digits.

I'm sure the current value it's not considered by this algorithm (the significant digits of the displayed value does not change, regardless of value). in my opinion is used URV (over a certain value are not decimals) . I think it's stupid sometimes you can not configure the minimum one decimal place.

For the flow rate display value, the current value isn't considered, but for the displayed totalizer value it is.
