Emerson and H+E in serie but the measures are different

Hello I have two coriolis meters one E+H and the other emerson, they are in serie, the first one installed was the E+H but our customer to be sure about the measures asked to put an the emerson one, the problem is that there is a difference in the output, the E+H measures 30,000 BPD while the Emerson One give 29, 300. Could anyone tell why this such difference? Or any clue?

  • Hello Roy,

There are a lot of secondary effects that Micro Motion meters correct for to improve the measurement accuracy. This may be why your customer requested a MMI meter installation.
To help you with your particular question: What are the two meter model numbers and the installation environment?
    Thank you,

    Hello Roy ,
I agree with Robert , we should know both model numbers and installation conditions to completely judge , but generally you can expect this difference or more , basically E+H meters are less accurate when measuring density , hence this gets worse when converting to volume , so this is expected. Anyways I'm curios to know, is this error repeatable or not? may be if you can provide more data we can help you better.
