Suspected production shortfall linked to test separator

Hi, we are getting some issues with our well tests. After testing some wells, results are bad.

The issue is the density measurement- (going below reference density of Oil) and that is impacting WC calculations.

Typically, Coriolis (CMF300) showing density below oil reference as highlighted below usually indicates entrained gas and or process upset.

Coriolis meter has been certified by external ISO lab and found to be in working condition.

what do you guys think?

Inputs/discussions on this would be most welcome.

  • You are correct that entrained gas will lower the mixture density, which results in an errantly high Oil Volume. However, Micro Motion's NOC software also includes built-in bubble-remediation capability to prevent this from happening when configured correctly. Please contact [email protected] (1-800-522-6277) to discuss your configuration and we will be happy to help optimize your production measurement.
