2700 Tx to 5700 Tx upgrade/change out error message " device description"

HI Team,

In replacing a 2700 series transmitter with a newer 5700 series on a micromotion CMF300 Coriolis, we are unable to upload the same existing setpoints on the existing 2700 transmitter into the newly procured 5700 transmitters. we get an error message "device description".

Kindly advise what to do or support with step-by-step procedure to address this issue.

  the existing setpoints were retrieved with a TREX communicator

  It sounds like the new transmitter is not properly recognizing the sensor type (via the 700 core processor on the sensor). The sensor should be recognized as soon as all of the Flow Calibration Factors are programmed into the new electronics (as stamped on the sensor tag, or published on the associated calibration certificate).
