Roclink for Windows install on Windows 7 64-bit

I hope this is the right place to go for help on this...

I have installed Roclink for Windows on a Windows 7 64-bit machine, and it seems to pass the initial "eye test", but I'm coming across the following menacing error:

"Failed to update the system registry. Please try using REGEDIT."

I'm not sure what registry entries I would be looking to work with in REGEDIT, and I'm also not sure if this has to do with the fact that I'm trying to install on the 64-bit OS.

My old contact doesn't seem to work with the company anymore, and I could use some help.

  Hi Chad, These types of questions you could enter via SupportNet and a ticket is created and you either get a callback or an email with a resolution.

  Roclink for Windows is an obsolete product. It is not supported on the Windows 7 OS. You can upgrade to ROCLINK800. RL800 is compatible with all of the older RTUs except for 300's using a ROCPAC. If you are running ROCPACs upgrade them to FLASHPACs and RL800 will be able to communicate with them. Please contact your local rep if you need either of these upgrades

  I am using ROCLINK for Windows Ver 1.21 to communicate with a ROC 364 with a FLASHPAC and the I get the REGEDIT message but it goes away and the program comes up. Do you know if the FLASHPAC and the I/O Modules for the ROC 364 are still available?

  If it has a flashpac you can use the most current version of Roclink 800.

  Due to budgetary constraints we will keep 1.21 till next year. On the ROC 364 using a FlashPac, is it possible to power down the ROC 364, remove Module Rack A and install a replacement without losing the program. We have backplane issues causing and AO drop out.
