Hi Smith,
As much as we would like to help you out, please understand that you must provide more information about the system you have or the project you are researching. It also helps if you tell us what kind of research you have done on your own. The more details you provide, the better answer you will receive and the faster you may receive it.
Some things we need to know to give you a good answer in this case:
1. What type of DeltaV hardware are you using: M-Series or S-Series?
2. If it is S-Series, are you using CHARMs?
If you look in Books-On-Line (BOL) (which comes with your DeltaV System), it covers how to handle 4-wire transmitters in the M-Series and S-Series hardware.
For M-Series check out the following sections in BOL:
- Hardware Installation --> DeltaV M-Series Hardware Installation and Reference --> Interface Specifications --> I/O Cards --> AI, 16-Channel, 4-20 mA, HART
- Hardware Installation --> DeltaV M-Series Hardware Installation and Reference --> Interface Specifications --> Terminal Blocks --> 4-wire 16-Channel Analog Input Terminal Block
For S-Series classic I/O check out the following sections in BOL:
- Hardware Installation --> DeltaV S-Series and CHARMS Hardware Reference --> S-Series Classic I/O cards specifications --> AI 8-channel 4-20 mA HART card
- Hardware Installation --> DeltaV S-Series and CHARMS Hardware Reference --> S-Series simplex terminal block specifications --> AI 8-Channel Terminal Block (2 or 4 wire)
For CHARMS I/O check out the following sections in BOL:
- Hardware Installation --> DeltaV S-Series and CHARMS Hardware Reference --> CHARMs I/O subsystem specifications --> Analog Input CHARMs Specifications --> AI 4-20 mA HART CHARM
- Hardware Installation --> DeltaV S-Series and CHARMS Hardware Reference --> CHARMs I/O subsystem specifications --> CHARM Terminal Blocks specifications --> CHARM Terminal Block
The BOL pages above should help answer your question.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Smith and Dave,
i would like to add a comment here,...
with V13.3, we have released new S-Series Hig Density Cards, so there is a new 16 Channel AI Card (called AI Plus) that comes with a Mass Termination block.
with the help of this Mass Termination block, you can now connect 2- or 4-wire devices (per channel) to this new AI Card, by using the new S-Series AI Mass Connection board.
here is a link to the PDS:
www2.emersonprocess.com/.../DV_PDS_S-series_Mass_Connection_Solutions.pdf
please have a look,
hope this helps,
bets regards,
Klaus
