DeltaV Foundation Fieldbus device communication dignostic statistic display on DeltaV Operator

Hi,

I want to find a way to put FF deivce diagnostic statistic data on DeltaV Operator to display/monitor/alarm. Could any specialist to help me?

  Could any Emerson PSS expert search KBA or help on this issue? Many FF device customers are facing communciation issue and want these data to give early warning. Thanks

  Most parameters that are in popup windows especially are not accesible through the standard OPC layers and therefore could not be displayed on a graphic. I did some searching and testing and can't find any that would be available outside of diagnostics for the specific window you have pulled up.

  Daniel, if you have access to Guardian, it now provides an AI to help with searching information like KBA's.
  
  I notice that this is a non-English language release system. I'm thinking you may be wanting to display this data with local language descriptions and the users are not comfortable working with the native dialogs that are in English? Unfortunately, as Matt Forbis points out, this data is not exposed within the DeltaV Communication layer and are not available either in the HMI or via OPC.
  
  It might be helpful if you can add some reasoning behind why you want to do this. Clearly, recreating this information in the HMI means a lot of work to expose the data and to maintain it. You mention alarms, or maybe you mean Alerts, which are for maintenance. Do you have AMS Device Manager? Is that an avenue for accessing device health information? FF devices in DeltaV have Device Alerts that already report into DeltaV as well as AMS DM. Are these existing mechanisms not sufficient to monitor device health?
  
  the short answer is no, this data is not available to the HMI or OPC.

  The reason we found TokenPass Timeout and NumLiveListAppearance indicates Fieldbus device malfunction if they are constantly increasing. But communication failure alert in AMS might happen aftre many times above things happened. So I want to find a way to help cusotmer and also help Emerson to consolidate our install base.
  
  Could Emerson try to find a way? After all all screenshoot data are genarated inside DeltaV.
